Pass it on to society

The results of the diagnosis will be shared in spring 2026 with stakeholders in the Basque language movement and other social movements. This will implement the second phase of BIHAR: a process of socialization and reflection.

A total of twenty working sessions and a joint seminar will take place across the Basque Country, involving more than 100 participants. These participants will come from diverse sectors: Basque language activism, deminism, environmentalism, youth movements, migrant solidarity groups, LGTBIQ+ movements, anti-racism, and international cooperation, among others.

These spaces are seen as opportunities to update interpretative frameworks of the Basque movement, connecting language revitalization with other social demands. Based on the diagnosis, special attention will be given to building balanced relationships with global language communities and recognizing internal diversity.

The goal is to strengthen collective capacities to create transformative, inclusive, and intersectional discourses.
